-a nostalgia trip Hi people! Jenny Hannula reporting. I've got a few e-mails (2) from people that asked if I could put up the Stollesoft games for download again. I'm surprised that people still remember these games since they're not really hot stuff anymore. I'm not really proud of the graphics and the games were a bit buggy in general. But sure, they were fun back then and they probably have some nostalgic value now, so sure, I decided to put up this page. It's actually just a download page with all of the StolleSoft games that were made. I'm sorry, nothing fancy, no big texts about all their features and stuff. But I believe that the people who visit this page allready know what they want when they enter this page. If you're new to StolleSoft, I'll warn you that these games was made between 1997-2000 and are crappy to today's standards of amateur games. If you're just out for laughs, go ahead and download them :) Another note, I haven't played these games in ages. I have no clue if they work on today's computers and I have no clue what to do if you can't get it to work, so please don't contact me if you have problems running it. Try to ask at a clickteam community site or something else, they're probably more competent with getting these things to work than me. Also, please don't ask me if I'm going to make a new adventure game or a new Orvar. It'd probably be fun to do, but I don't have the time or knowledge to work on anything Stollesoft related at the time. And lastly, I myself don't think very high of these games myself. I know the graphics are sucky (I was like 13-15 years when I drew them), the plots and puzzles aren't good and that the games are pretty buggy. But hey, my brother is in it, and he's a three-headed monster! How many game developers make someone they know as a three-headed, photo-manipulated monster in their games these days? ;) Remember that, people! Brother Island Extreme (2 MB) - Hotted-up and slimmed-down version of Brother Island 1. Also contains a demo of BOTA if I'm not mistaken. Brother Island 2 (2½ MB) - Sequel to Brother Island. The first real adventure game from Stollesoft. Brother Island 2 SE Incomplete (375 KB) - Netmonkey's demo of the special edition of BI2. Sadly, the game got corrupted as Netmonkey worked on it, and thus it never got finished. Beware of the Aliens rolling demo (500 KB) - The title says it all, eh? I'm not sure if the demo really got people hyped up about the game though XD Beware of the Aliens (3½ MB) - The second and last adventure game from Stollesoft. Heavilly influenced by Day of the Tentacle. Watch out for bad voice-acting! :D A real HANZ one (1 MB) - A...strange game I did for my brother. This version is a wee bit hotted-up and slimmed-down though. A real HANZ one 2 (2 MB) - An even stranger game for my brother. This time it's a break-out-clone! Väktarna (english version) (500 KB) - A game I did for a classmate. It's just...odd. Adventures of Orvar Demo (1 MB) - Demo for Orvar. Adventures of Orvar (3½ MB) - The first action-adventure by Stollesoft! It was supposed to have a sequel, but one never came. Yaya took my keyboard! (sound) (20 KB) - This is a strange sound that was made for Brother Island 2. Schesch cries because Yaya took his keyboard. CNCS232.dll - Unzip this in your windows/system folder to make Adventures of Orvar and Väktarna work. ![]() © Stollesoft and the people who worked on the games. Thanks to everyone that helped out to make the Stollesoft games back then! |
